4A-F to 4A-GE conversion build/writeup thread.

So, from what I've been reading, and have seen on my own car, in 4AGE terms, from the head down, a 4A-F is:
  • 7-rib (late bigport/smallport) block
  • small rod bearing (40mm)
  • small pin (18mm)
  • cast crank (dimensionally the same?)
So I've decided to do the absolute bare minimum to put a 4AGE head on it.
  1. Late bigport (black/blue) head from an '87 AW11
  2. TVIS intake (until I save up for 20v ITBs)
  3. Cast Exh manifold (theoretically bolts to factory exhaust)...
