Brodies' GTS build

Hello, I need some help here, my 89 gts coupe is just now getting on the road, I traded an engine for it about five years back and it has sat ever since, I am now trying to get her running and built to the teeth. My very first mod to the car is adding a momo steering wheel, but here's the problem, I cant get the damn thing off. Are there any secrets to removing the wheel? I have the front cover off and all the screws undone including the welded nut in the middle, what else do I do?
